About me…
I have always loved storytelling. I believe stories have the power to entertain, inform, and inspire. They allow us to understand ourselves and each other better. There is power in words and magic in storytelling.
I’m a member of New York Women in Film & Television and worked as an actor and voice over artist for 20+ years (I even have an Emmy nomination, no lie!) before going back to school to get my MFA in creative writing from Florida International University. My short story, Snapshots, was published in the Palm Circle Press Short Story Anthology 2021. Four of my novels have been published: The Fisherman, A Crowded Loneliness: The story of loss, survival and resilience of a Peter Pan Child of Cuba,W.H. Auden, Poetry, and Me: A 102-year-old reluctant poet reflects on life, poetry, and her famous teacher, and The Rainy Night Stalker. I am writing my fifth thriller, the first in a series featuring Detective Jack Ridley who uses his neurodiversity to capture a serial killer before he becomes the next victim!
I live in upstate New York. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me learning to play the cello and searching for the perfect fish taco.
